The pregnancy tag:

The questions:

I thought that I would do another tag, in particular a pregnancy tag. I’m still working on some exciting posts, but thought I would post in the meantime.:)

❤
  1. How many months are you and what month are you due?
– I’m just over 8 months and I am due in July!

  1. Family’s Reaction?
– My family were and still are extremely happy for myself and Zachary; and have been amazingly supportive. <3

  1. Do you know the sex?
– Nope, we decided not to find out our babies gender and for the gender reveal to be a surprise at birth; we’re happy either way as long as our baby is healthy!:)

  1. What did you want?
– Both of us are first time parents, so either way we are completely happy with either gender, as mentioned in the previous question as long as baby is healthy we don’t mind.:)

  1. Do you want more?
– Defiantly in the future.  :)

  1. Biggest craving?
– Ironically, I haven’t actually had any cravings yet and don’t personally think I will. ðŸ˜®

  1. Best part of being pregnant?
– Everything, I cant pin point a specific ‘best part’ so I’m just going to say everything.❤

  1. Names picked out?
– Zachary and I have picked out a name that we love for both genders, however we are keeping these a secret until our baby’s arrival.:)

  1. Who will be with you during labor?
– Zachary and my mum. ❤

  1. Birth plan?
I don’t yet have a birth plan and have to wait a few weeks to make one; after a follow up scan on our baby’s position, as currently baby is breech ❤

  1. Will you film it?
– Defiantly not! I will be prompting my mum and Zachary to take as many pictures as they can for us to look back on, but I don’t like the idea of a video haha! But each to their own!:)

  1. Natural or Medicated?
– I haven’t made any permanent decisions but – I plan to last as long as I can on gas and air; however if I would like something stronger then I will. :)

  1. Scared about labor?
– Nope, just excited!!😀❤😀❤😀

  1. What do you look forward to after pregnancy?
– Just in general being a mum, watching our baby grow up, and all the amazing things we can do as a family; I look forward to everything.❤❤

  1. Breastfeed?
– I do intend on breastfeeding, however I’m not against bottle-feeding and will do what works best for our baby. :)

  1. Plan to work or be a stay at home mom?
– I will be a stay at home mum until our baby is attending nursery, then I will go back into work. :):)

Scotney Castle:

Our day out:

Made with Repix (http://repix.it)
the beautiful gardens of Scotney Castle.
I felt like doing another relatively chatty post whilst I’m working on some exciting future post ideas. In this post I will be in particular talking about this past weekend.

Myself and Zachary decided to be more adventurous and go on a spontaneous venture to a lovely location that is owned by the national trust – Scotney Castle; we visited here to pretty much take a lovely walk and admire the scenery. It’s the second time that we have visited together, each time that we have been i’m amazed at just how pretty it is, everything there is in tiptop condition; the flowers well groomed, grass cut perfectly and in general it’s a beautiful place to visit for a Sunday stroll.
The last time we visited I remember taking 100’s of pictures of literally everything located next to the path as we walked by, every picture being shared on my instagram; however this time was a completely different story as and proved to be 10x more difficult due to the issue with my phone (caused by apple -_-) of my camera not working and the only camera on my phone that’s actually working is the ‘selfie’ camera haha. Mind you I intend to purchase a new phone at some point during the end of this month…its particularly irritating having a camera that doesn’t work especially when you intend to take pictures and share the beauty of Scotney Castle on here and instagram.
Although walking around exploring the entire grounds proved to be a little harder being 8 months pregnant – however I am pretty proud on how far I managed to actually walk, with my swollen ankles, even if some of my walking was aided by Zachary pulling me up some of the many hills haha, and including some pit stops haha! However I’m still pretty impressed with myself haha.:)

I had a lovely time exploring the grounds – it was rather empty which was nice, completely different from the last time we visited, probably because this time we arrived I guess you could say relatively early, it was nice to be able to freely walk around without being bombarded with hundreds of people intending to take pictures and to do what myself and Zachary embarked on; a spontaneous venture.
Luckily the weather was great too making the whole day a lot more enjoyable, the sun beaming down with a slight breeze in the air – to keep you at the perfect temperature. Considering we had to travel quite the distance I think I would’ve been slightly annoyed if once we had arrived the weather hadn’t been so great; I don’t think I would’ve appreciated the day just as much if it was pouring down with rain drenching me as I walked haha!

I always love looking around at all the different national trust locations learning about the history and  admiring the extraordinary views. If only my camera actually worked and I didn’t have to use my ‘selfie’ camera, I could’ve taken 100’s of pictures to share – however I hope that you like the ones my ‘selfie’ camera managed to take and the ones that Zachary took on he’s phone.

I hope you all had a lovely weekend!

Get to know me :)

A little about me:

I thought I would do a quick blog post, different from my other posts; this one consists of questions that I will be answering to help you to ‘get to know me’.
Made with Repix (http://repix.it)
selfie….

  1. What is your middle name?
My middle name is ‘Charmaine’.

  1. What is your favourite colour?
I don’t have just 1 haha, so I would have to say my favourite colours are anything pastel and bright.

  1. Who are your best friends?
It probably sounds pretty cliché but I would have to say that my best friends are my family and boyfriend.❤

  1. How tall are you?
I haven’t had my height measured for around a year or so, but from what I can last remember I’m around 5ft 4inches.

  1. Cats or dogs?
This one is difficult…I have both, 2 cats and 1 dog – and to be honest I love both species I can’t pick…haha.

  1. How many countries have you visited?
I haven’t actually travelled that far or to that many countries purely because I HATE airplanes… but the countries I have visited are France, Turkey and Tunisia.

  1. Are you in or going to college?
I actually finished/graduated college last summer, after studying animal management and animal care for 3 years.

a bearded dragon named jerry from my college course.

  1. What was your favourite and worst subject in school?
I would have to say my favourite subject at school was defiantly English! Although I’m not too great at it now haha, by far my worst subjects were maths and science!

  1. What are your favourite drinks?
My favourite drinks are currently peach ice tea from Costa or iced strawberry lemonade from McDonalds!

  1. What is your favourite animal?
I love all animals and don’t particularly have a favourite to be honest… but if I had to pick I would probably say a capybara!

just incase you don’t know what animal it is:)

  1. What sports do you or have you played?
I used to do competitive trampoline when I was younger, but as ive grown up I haven’t taken part in many sports….

  1. What is your favourite book?

  1. What is your favourite movie?
Just like the books, the Harry Potter movies are defiantly my favourite films by far!

  1. What is your idea of an ideal first date?
My ideal first date would be going somewhere that you can actually engage in conversation, a place where you can actually get to know the person, so for example going for a meal or even a picnic for me would be great. I wouldn’t like the idea of the cinema or somewhere like that as your unable to talk or get to know each other.
Ironically my first date with my boyfriend was a dinner date.❤

  1. Favourite memory from your childhood?
Honestly I can’t pick one; I have sooooooo many great memories from my childhood, day trips to the zoo with my family, Christmas’s – loads of memories.

  1. Do you speak any other languages?
Unfortunately not, I studied French and Spanish at secondary school, but never really grasped them.

  1. Do you have any siblings?
Yes, I have one; my older sister Kayleigh.

  1. How would you describe your fashion?
Currently I would describe my fashion as pretty lazy, comfortable and effortless, partly because I’m 8 months pregnant; so my clothing usually consists of my hair being p or styled out of my face somehow, a maternity item, leggings and flip-flops.

  1. What is your favourite restaurant?
Wagamamas or Frankies and Benny’s.

  1. What are some of your favourite TV programmes?
Prison break and Orange is the new black!

  1. PC or Mac?
Defiantly Mac…purely because I have one, I used to have a PC but I don’t think ill personally ever get another after owning a Mac.

  1. What phone do you have?
I have the Iphone 5s, although I hope to get a new phone next month, ill be branching away from Apple, and hope to get the Samsung galaxy s7 edge.

Hopefully you enjoyed reading this post, I’m currently working on a few exciting posts that I will be making live in a couple of weeks, so I thought I would post something so that I didn’t abandon my blog.
