My top pregnancy app:

Glow:

I thought that I would do a post discussing my favourite pregnancy app, reviewing and talking about different features on this particular app.

The app I am going to be talking about is – ‘Glow nurture – pregnancy tracker & baby due date calculator’. I have used this app since the day I found out I am expecting. I use this app daily as I find all of the features that are included within this app are so useful.

Glow nurture has the following features, or tabs on their app – a home page, community section, genius, alert and a ‘me’ page.

Home page:

The home page is the page that essentially tracks your pregnancy – on this particular part of the app there is a calendar located at the top that informs you of how many weeks, days you are pregnant, also enabling you to see weeks of the past and future, allowing you to look forward to a date and see how many weeks you are. Along side this there is a small picture of a baby, allowing you to see how much baby has grown, there is a description of your baby’s size and weight next to the picture.

Also on the home page you can complete a log which helps you to keep track of your health – each day the app will send you a daily task, insight into your pregnancy and facts that are relevant to your weeks gestation.

Community:

Within the community you can talk to other expecting mums/ladies, people from all walks of life world wide. There are hundreds of different groups that you can join that are relevant to you, which all have admins – for example: first time mums, twins & multiples, your baby bumps and hundreds more!

On these groups you can ask for advice, give advice, create polls, share pictures, questions or just have a chat.

Genius:

This part of the app is responsible for monitoring your overall health, fundal height, blood pressure, symptoms – long term, weight, pulse rate, insights and of course your checklist – reminding you what need to remember to do before your due date!

Alert:

The alert section sends you notifications and just in general alerts you of post responses – helping you to stay active within the glow community, appointments and reminders.

Me page/profile:

The me page is the page that is basically your profile, enabling you to add your partner into the app, so he or she receives notifications and insights. On this page you can also look back on posts that you have participated in or created; the app settings are also located there alongside many other important accessible links.
